CMMS Analyst
Purpose/Role
To operate and maintain Computerised Maintenance Management System, and its interfaces with cost, materials and planning groups in support of the maintenance function meeting the standards required to achieve safety, production and environmental targets for the asset.
Key aims and objectives
Ensuring the co-ordination and optimisation of spares listed against PMOs within CMMS.
Configuration and preparation of system reports.
Capability in SQL/Toad and underlying data structure to enable data retrieval and preparation of ad hoc reports within CMMS
Prepare, control and revise PMOs.
Assist in effective cost management of maintenance activities.
Liaise regularly with offshore end users to ensure effective use of CMMS
Carry out regular data checks to ensure compliance with data structure, correct and complete format with required level of history. Report findings regularly.
Maintain asset register and equipment hierarchies.
Monitoring, management and reporting of compliance.
Monitoring, management and reporting of backlog and forelog.
Rigorous CMMS change management.
Upload / download project modifications data and PMO revisions.
Manage, organise and deliver CMMS training.
Minimum qualifications are technical apprenticeship/HNC with adequate experience in role of CMMS Analyst OR in lieu of formal qualifications candidate may offer an auditable track record of consistently high performance for a substantial period working with a CMMS
Qualifications/Training
Essential:
• Technical apprenticeship or equivalent training scheme
• OR : - HNC, (or equivalent), in relevant subject with adequate experience in the role
• OR : - Related recognised formal training in at least one specific CMMS
• OR : - In lieu of formal qualification candidate can offer an auditable track record of consistently good performance for a substantial period working with CMMS or related field Desirable:
• Technical Degree
Experience
Essential:
• Experience of Offshore Oil & Gas Industry and understanding of Operations & Maintenance
• Sound knowledge of CMMS for delivery solutions and Asset maintenance requirements
• Experience of CMMS data manipulation and analysis of maintenance history information
• Overview of hydrocarbon production systems and associated hazards
• General knowledge of maintenance techniques, tools and processes
• A good understanding of maintenance strategies and their development
• An understanding of technical and commercial subjects
Desirable:
• Adequate post apprenticeship offshore experience in a similar role preferred, or equivalent onshore maintenance management experience

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must work at all times in accordance with Company policies and procedures and in the best interest of AMEC
• Must comply with the requirements of the Client's Safety Management System (SMS)
• Ability to coach and pass on understanding and learning
• Deal with third parties in a professional manner
• Ability to input data into a CMMS produce reports and historical analysis
• Competent in the use of MS ACCESS and MSEXCEL
• Able to use data processing software and techniques
• Ability to attend other UK / International locations on planned short duration visits
• Occasional offshore visits may be required
Additional comments
Although not essential, experience of the offshore environment would be an advantage
